Gymkhana

Sports and games develop in an individual the ability to live with zest, enthusiasm and determination. As a part of our education, the institute gives importance to the sports activities.

Our college has a well-equipped gymkhana along with enthusiastic Physical Director to guide the students. The gymkhana provides equipments to all eager enthusiastic who want to test themselves on and off the field by participating in indoor and outdoor sporting activities.

The ground of 2.5 acres provides a large place for outdoor games.

Special coaching is provided in chess, kabaddi, handball, ball badminton, boxing, wrestling and judo, etc.

The college has developed a well equipped gymnasium helps the students to maintain their physical health.

The health corner of CKT is equipped with heavy weight and light equipments, sixteen station gym, all types of benches, power stepper, magnetic jogger, weight lifting kits, cable cross, twister, dumbles, exercise bike, absleemer, floor type weighing scale, etc.

The Health Centre provides preliminary medical facilities to the students and staff.

National Service Scheme (NSS)

The NSS of our college is developed with the slogan ‘Not me but you’ and it has three units and 300 volunteers.

The overall aim of National Service Scheme is to give an extension dimension to the higher education system and orient the student youth to community service while they are studying in educational institution.

The students obtain work experience which might help them to find avenues of self-employment or employment in any organization at the end of their university career.

National Cadet Corps (NCC)

The NCC is an organization aiming at the development of leadership, character, comradeship and the ideal of service among the youth in educational institutions.

The unit is associated to 3 MAH BN NCC MUM ‘A’ Group, a N.C.C. Directorate of Maharashtra.

We have separate units for boys and girls. 52 boys and 28 girls are enrolled in these units.

Boys and Girls Common Rooms

Keeping in view a need of providing separate common rooms for boys and girls, the college has allotted two separate rooms, one for boys and one for girls to enable them to sit and discuss various educational points with each other.

These rooms are also used for socializing, discussion and interacting with each other and on some occasion to take rest from their busy schedule of teaching work.

Cafeteria

It’s place to gorge whilst staying conscious about nutrition and health. A healthy mind can only reside in a healthy body. We, at CKT, understand its importance and hence, our cafeteria includes menu that is designed to take care of the nutrition and vitality of our students.

The college provides a healthy environment in the cafeteria and makes sure that quality food is served at reasonable price. A care is taken to serve hygienic food and the quality of food and hygiene are monitored by the Canteen Committee.
