| |
• In order to create an interest in subject, the department organises various competitions. Students are encouraged to participate in departmental activity as well as intercollegiate activities. |

• Group discussions has been conducted on 2nd January 2004 in which students participated and presented discussion on a ‘Role of mathematics in all fields’. |
| |
• Mathematics quiz has been conducted on 23rd December 2003 for F.Y.B.Sc. and S.Y.B.Sc. students to improve their awareness about the subject. |

• Our students took part in poster competitions conducted by science association and represented different views of subject by selecting following topics -
• Pascal triangles
• Area of circle
• Spiritual mathematics
• Importance of mathematics in day to day life
• Mathematical alphabets
• Department organises a debate competition on ‘Importance of zero’ on 20th December 2003. |
