Departmental activities :
  Competitions / special efforts for the development of the students by the department.
  • Various programmes are organised under ‘Hindi pakhwara’, which includes different types of competitive events such as elocution, quiz, essay writing, translation, debate, word power etc. These events result in multidimensional growth of students.
  • In order to enhance the knowledge and awareness level, a one day workshop is jointly organised by Departments of Hindi, English and Marathi, covering skills of writing effective application letter and resumes.
  • Series of expert lectures is organised for T.Y.B.A. students to provide structured guidance from examination point of view.
  • Department regularly organises parent-teachers meeting to discuss the problems of the students.
  • Spot tests are conducted in order to keep high awareness among the students. Completion of each topic is followed by test, which is helpful in students progress.
 
Organisation of the workshop / seminars / conferences -
  Competitions / special efforts for the development of the students by the department.
  • Presentations at class level are organised for T.Y.B.A. students in order to identify and nurture the potential of the students.
  • Inter-departmental activities are organised such as inviting teachers from Departments of Computer Science and Rural Development to deliver lectures on syllabus oriented topics.
 
Hindi sahitya mandal
  • Department of Hindi has organised various activities under Hindi sahitya mandal. The Hindi sahitya mandal celebrates birth anniversary of the great writer ‘Munsi Premchand’. On this occasion well known personalities of Hindi literature are invited to enlighten the students.
  • Every year we celebrate ‘Hindi day’ on 14th September with lot of enthusiasm. Students get acquainted with the origin and spread of Hindi language. The main focus behind this is to ensure that all students recognise the importance of Hindi as our national language.
  • Wall paper ‘Uddan’ is published exhibiting students’ articles and thus encouraging their creativity.
 
Future plans :
  To start the Diploma Course in Translation and Diploma Course in Mass Media of Communication.
